Question: What steps do you take to ensure each patient feels supported and understood?
A lot of it is, we give a lot of freedom to our staff to take the best care of patients the way they want to, or the way they feel like they should.
“We give a lot of freedom to our staff to take the best care of patients the way they want to, or the way they feel like they should.”
And our staff gets together and trains each other—things that one person thinks is important, they get to share with the rest of the people. And that way, as we get to know our patients as individuals, everyone’s able to communicate, everyone’s able to lift the whole group up.

And I think that provides better care for our patients.
Rather than someone in an office somewhere telling people how they should treat patients, it’s the people who treat patients who are telling us how to treat patients—and that makes a huge difference.
