Question: How does being a family-run clinic influence the care you provide?
The great thing about being a family-run clinic is we get to make decisions based on what we think is best for the patients—not what someone else is telling us, or really even things like profit. Profit’s not very important on the list of things for us. Really, taking care of patients and changing lives and taking care of our employees—our work family—are all far above profits.
“We get to make decisions based on what we think is best for the patients—not what someone else is telling us, or really even things like profit.”
So I think that the best thing about being a family-run clinic is just having that sense of family. A lot of the people that work with us here have been with us for years and are really as committed to this treatment as we are.
We are constantly talking about: What can we do to provide better patient care? How can we improve outcomes? What can we do to make sure that more people understand what ketamine is and how it can help them?
We’ve been in practice here for eight years now, so we’ve learned a lot—about getting the best outcomes, about how to help patients through that process.
“We’re constantly talking about: What can we do to provide better patient care? How can we improve outcomes?”
So I think being a family-run company and just having that personal care—because we know what it’s like to be in this situation, and we know what it’s like to have family members struggle—then that makes all the difference.
